I digged and I dugged. I dugged under the rug.
I gave a big tug as I dug ‘neath the rug.
Perhaps you can call me Sir Doug, the pug.
A purplish pug who is safe and he’s snug.
But what did I find under the rug?
Something so frightening I needed a hug.
